Activities:
The Alma Area chapter of BPW sponsors and participates in many activities throughout the community.
Reality Store:
The Reality Store is an annual program for area eighth grade students sponsored by the Alma Area BPW. The Reality Store is designed to teach students about life and decision making related to their career and family.
Young Careerist:
Each year the Alma Area BPW chooses a woman between the ages of 21 and 35 who has been successful in establishing herself in her career and her community. A banquet is held to honor the recipient of this award each October.
Princess Ball:
The annual Princess Ball, sponsored by the Alma Area BPW, is an opportunity for dads and daughters to spend a special afternoon together. This year over 600 dads and daughters came to celebrate the afternoon.
Alma College Scholarship:
The Alma Area BPW presents a local female graduating from high school and planning to attend Alma College with a $500 scholarship.The goal of this scholarship is to promote education in women to further their career goals.
Tieler Holland, Fulton High School, is this years scholarship winner.
Professional Development Scholarship:
This scholarship is available to members of the Alma Area BPW for additional education or training, either personally or professionally.
